Botox®:

Botox® is certainly a well known way to help reduce the telltale signs of aging. Fine wrinkles, particularly those around the eyes and in the forehead, are significantly reduced after an injection. Botox® works by inhibiting the activity of the muscles in the face which cause wrinkles.

Injections are extremely well tolerated and quick, with few people describing any significant discomfort. There is no to minimal bruising or swelling after treatment.

The results of Botox® are dependent on the dosage of Botox® used and the exact site of injection. Dr. Dahiya's background as a facial plastic surgeon gives him the advantage of knowing the exact position and orientation of the facial muscles through his direct visualization of them in the operating room.
