Chemical Peels:

Chemical peels are available at numerous strengths. Lighter peels can be performed by an aesthetician or nurse. Deeper peels, such as a TCA peel, need to be performed by a physician.

The best type of peel for you is determined by several factors including your skin type, degree of wrinkles, amount of sun-damage, and expectations.

A comprehensive and informative consultation with Dr. Dahiya will allow you to decide which peel will give you the best result.

Lighter peels require minimal to no down time and can be especially effective when repeated. Deeper peels are certainly more effective at improving deeper wrinkles, however, they also do require a longer recovery time (usually 7-10 days).
